Yeah, I just can't get into it. Garcia is lazy & taking no chances...probably wise, if the slurring of his voice during the stage banter is anything to go by.

Jer. On. The. Nod.

The rest of the band are energetic & professional. 78 was a weird year.

After all, they were in Kentucky. Great fidelity here. The trucking is superb ( the drums have the punch of artillery ) and lots of nice flourishes by Bob. I was lucky to be catching the boys frequently from 77 to about 83. Work got in the way of going too far afield though.

Thanks for making this available.

Check out towards the end of drums seems all band members had a percussion instrument. The little chant at the end is fun and someones doing the warewovles chant. From watching the Duke video on you tube where even Jerry is drumming I get the feeling maybe they did this often on this spring tour. Storys from back then were they were on fire and I agree. Maybe just the right mixtures thru-out the spring. I am far from apposed to the substances we all took from to time. That is so long as you survied it. The rumor was alot of coke threw out the 77 78 years. Not to be quoated on this for sure because a rumor is just that sometimes a rumor.
Yes the Upside down is the and it seems as if it has a flair of Stayin' Alive also.
How can this be anything but 5 starts listen to the quality here. ANOTHER GREAT JOB done on this one.
